Membership Subscription year 2023

Thank-you for your invaluable support to the CVA.  Your membership subscription is essential to maintaining the communal facilities in Cardrona and enables the CVA to organise the annual events that help keep the community in Cardrona connected.  Your CVA subscription, along with the CVA volunteers, help keep our village hall open and accessible to the residents of Cardrona and the wider community. It pays for the grass cutting on the Green, together with then energy bills, insurance, maintenance, cleaning, broadband and improvements that ensure the hall remains a safe and welcoming environment for all residents and visitors. .  The maintenance includes the upkeep of “Pump and Jump” and the repairs to the iconic clock which sits atop the village hall.

The hall offers a range of weekly events available to everyone, of all ages, including: Scouts, Beavers and Squirrels, Toddlers, Pilates, Yoga, Craft, Judo. The hall is also regularly hired for children’s parties and social events organised by individuals.

As a member, you receive a reduced rate for hall hire.

Membership subscription payment details

  • Annual membership for this year is set at £32.
  • Membership is per individual aged 18 and over (not per household).
  • Membership year runs from 1st Jan to 31st Dec.
  • Online payment is the preferred method and the most efficient and secure way to pay.
  • The CVA is a registered charity.  Please Gift Aid if possible, as this boosts the value of your donation by 25% at no extra cost to you.

We would prefer not to be handling cash, but if this is the only option then please post it along with a completed form through the post box of 13 The Green.

Notes for existing and new members:

For renewing/existing members paying online there is no need to complete the membership form again as we already have your details.  Please however email the CVA at info@cardrona-village.org. letting us know you have paid and we will update the membership register accordingly.

For renewing/existing members paying by cheque/cash please complete the membership form to allow us to record to whom the payment belongs, and we will update the membership register accordingly.

For ALL new members please complete the form so we have your details in the membership register.

If you have already signed up for Gift Aid and would like to opt out, or vice versa, please let us know via email at info@cardrona-village.org.
